Mr. Shailendra Malhotra

Mr. Shailendra Malhotra

Shailendra Malhotra joined Himalaya in 2000 as the Head of Middle East operations, with 14 years of experience in various companies. He has played a critical role in positioning Himalaya as a global wellness brand.

Under Shailendra's leadership, Himalaya products are available in 68 countries in Europe, the Middle East, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), and Africa. He set up the Dubai office, and Himalaya became the first Indian pharmaceutical company to be registered with the Ministry of Health in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 
Mr. Nabeel Manal

Mr. Nabeel Manal

Nabeel Manal, a third-generation member of Himalaya's founding family, joined the Himalaya Americas region in 2004. He was quick to turn around the business by bringing in profitable growth in his very first year with the Company.

Nabeel has been instrumental in putting together a team of passionate professionals to launch the first-ever Himalaya organic product line. He propelled Himalaya to gain significant market share in oral care and stress/mood categories and spearheaded the construction of a new energy-efficient LEED-Gold Americas headquarters. Nabeel pushed forward Himalaya's presence in natural product chains, major grocery stores, pharmacies, and online merchants. Under his leadership, Himalaya's points of sale in the US have risen from 2,000 to 12,000.

 

Nabeel had a short stint with Aon Hewitt, a consulting firm, as an Analyst and Senior Consultant, before joining Himalaya in 2004.

Nabeel holds a degree in Finance and Marketing from Trinity University, San Antonio.

Mr. Saket Gore

Mr. Saket Gore

Saket Gore started his journey with Himalaya in 2007 as Business Head of the Consumer Products Division (CPD), taking care of India, Russia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). He was promoted as the Head of CPD in 2011.

In 2012, Saket moved to Singapore as CEO of Himalaya Asia Pacific. He has created a strong base for the Company in the Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh markets.

 

Prior to joining Himalaya, Saket was Regional Sales Manager and Brand Manager for HUL. Later, he worked as Deputy General Manager in Airtel.

Saket completed his MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai University.

Mr. Jatin Brahmecha

Mr. Jatin Brahmecha

Jatin Brahmecha is the Global CFO of Himalaya Global Holdings, with a focus on excellence and profitable growth. He engages closely with all business verticals to achieve higher profitability through various initiatives and projects. Jatin is also focusing on standardization of processes and strengthening governance.

Prior to joining Himalaya, Jatin worked across strategic, analytical, and finance functions in FMCG, Retail, and Pharmaceutical industries, as well as private equity firms, in markets including Dubai and Singapore.

 

Jatin completed his CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Delhi, and ICWA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kolkata. He has a B. Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree from B.Y.K. College of Commerce, University of Pune.

Mrs. Jayashree Ullal

Mrs. Jayashree Ullal

Jayashree Ullal started her journey with Himalaya in 1998. She has worked in various capacities and has played a key role in the planning and execution of business and finance strategy.

Jayashree has over 25 years of experience in managing Finance and Information Technology for Himalaya India. She is currently responsible for Himalaya India's Finance and Operations.

 

Jayashree is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University, India, and has won several gold medals and accolades for her academic excellence.

She also has a Program certificate from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Bangalore, and Bullet Proof Manager certification from Crestcom.

Mr. KG Umesh

Mr. KG Umesh

KG Umesh joined Himalaya in 2000 and has been driving the Human Resource Management function. He has played a key role in the plan, design, development, and evaluation of initiatives that support Himalaya's strategic goals. People Strategies, Talent Management, Industrial Relations, Talent Development, and Business Process Restructuring are some of the areas that he has contributed to.

Mr. Rajesh Krishnamurthy

Mr. Rajesh Krishnamurthy

Rajesh Krishnamurthy joined Himalaya in 2012 as Business Head, Consumer Products Division (CPD). He has driven the expansion of CPD, positioning Himalaya as a trusted household brand.

Rajesh has helped develop the Face Cleansing, Lip Care, Oral Care, Hair Care, Hygiene, and Men's Personal Care categories. He has restructured the sales organization to achieve distribution expansion and efficient execution capabilities.

 

Before joining Himalaya, Rajesh handled the Marketing and Sales functions of Colgate Palmolive (CP) across Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand. Over a 15-year stint with CP, he was promoted to the position of Marketing Director, Venezuela, and then, India.

Rajesh is a Management graduate from the Asian Institute of Management and has an Engineering degree from Vellore Institute of Technology.

Mr. Sharat Sutrave

Mr. Sharat Sutrave

Sharat Sutrave started his journey with Himalaya in 2001 as a Manager in Production Planning, and over the years, was promoted to Director, Manufacturing. Sharat is responsible for technical operations and initiating greenfield projects to enhance manufacturing bases. He has set up manufacturing units in various parts of India, Thailand, Bangladesh, and South Korea. Sharat leads a team of quality professionals and ensures compliance with good manufacturing practices.

Sharat has over 28 years of experience in managing Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions. Before joining Himalaya, he has worked in various capacities in Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Astra IDL Limited, and Micro Nova Limited.

 

Sharat completed his M S Pharma Operations degree from BITS Pilani, and Bachelors in Pharma from Bangalore University. He also received the Executive General Management Program certificate from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Bangalore, and Bullet Proof Manager certificate from Crestcom.

Mr. Anil Jiandani

Mr. Anil Jiandani

Anil Jiandani started his career at Himalaya as a Medical Representative in Satara, Maharashtra, in 1984. In 1990, he was promoted as Regional Manager, subsequently Zonal Manager, and went on to become Sales Manager in Pune for his impeccable sales record. Anil was in charge of the operations in the Eastern and Western parts of India. He moved up to hold the position of Marketing Manager, wherein he was entrusted with the Gastroenterology and Gynecology segments of the Pharmaceutical division.

Anil has also handled the operations for Himalaya in Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Maldives. He has been the frontrunner in establishing Himalaya products as leaders in the Indian Pharmaceutical market. Anil currently heads Himalaya India's Pharmaceutical and Animal Health divisions.

 

Anil holds a bachelor's degree from Mumbai University.

Dr. Rangesh

Dr. Rangesh

Dr. Rangesh's journey with Himalaya began as a Medical Advisor in June 1998. He has contributed in various capacities such as Senior Medical Advisor, Head of New Product Initiatives and Regulatory Affairs, and played a critical role in the development of Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, and Animal Health product innovations.

Dr. Rangesh currently holds the position of Chief Scientific Officer and is working to establish the Himalaya Global Research Centre in Dubai.

 

Before joining Himalaya, Dr. Rangesh was an Ayurveda Consultant and worked as a Lecturer in Ayurveda Medical Colleges in Bangalore and Mysore.

Dr. Rangesh has completed his bachelor's degree and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda from Bangalore University. He has an Executive General Management Program certificate from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Bangalore, and a Bullet Proof Manager certificate from Crestcom. He is also a recipient of the Fellow of Royal Asiatic Society, London.
